Walkie Stacker/Pedestrian Operated Forklift (walk behind) Training

Walkie stackers and pedestrian operated lift trucks do not require a national HRW licence. However, employers (PCBUs) need to maintain training records and verification of competency for authorised operators. This course enables them to meet these requirements.
Our Training course offers comprehensive Theoretical and hands on Practical training/assessment delivered by accredited Trainers/Assessors.
Trainees can expect to learn knowledge and skills to safely operate walkie stackers.
The course content includes:
  • Hazard identification, Risk assessment and implementing suitable Controls
  • Conducting Pre-use safety inspection of stackers
  • If applicable, identifying safe operating parameters using data plate/manual/load charts
  • Operation of walkie truck – conduct different lifts with different loads
  • Emergency procedures
  • Shut Down and Post Operation checks
  • Battery charging (if applicable)
Course assessment includes written test, calculations and practical observations.
We come to you to deliver this training. We bring all training materials.
You supply a room suitable for theory component and access to a suitable walkie stacker for practical component of the course including palletised load(s) that trainees can pick, carry and place.
Your workers trained to use your walkie stacker.
Cancellation fees may apply, travel fees may also apply. Please call to discuss. P: 0408 817 598 E: tony@dattrainingnsw.com

Hi, duration is dependent on the number of trainees and their previous experience, if any. If it were, say, a group of 6 without experience, you would need to allow about 4 hours. Training includes 'theory' and 'practical'. Cost starts at $250pp. You can call or email me direct for more information. Regards, Tony
