Click here to At present both training for and hire of telescopic handlers is in high demand.
This may be because these machines are so versatile on building and other sites.
With the ability to handle rough terrain and their use as a forklift or mobile crane, make them ideal for many uses.

Normally fitted with tynes (fork) attachment, they are an all-terrain forklift with great manoeuvrability and ease of access.
When fitted with a jib, they can pick and carry slung loads. Much like a small mobile crane.
With a huge variety of possible attachments, including a bucket attachment, they can be adapted for a variety of tasks while on site.

In the absence of a mandatory High Risk Work licence to operate the telescopic handlers, the best and most demanded ‘proof of competency’ is the ‘Gold Card’.

DAT training has regular, 1-day courses that lead to the issue of a Telescopic Handler Association of Australia (TSHA) Gold Card mapped to RIIHAN309F.

This photo card is the one preferred and demanded by most principal contractors (building companies) and employers.

Contact DAT Training for a no obligation discussion about your training needs.
We can clarify any questions you may have such as what, if any, licence/card is required by SafeWork NSW for telescopic handler operators.
