Training for Operators of Walkie Stackers or Pedestrian Operated Forklifts
There is NO High Risk Work licence for these types of pallet movers.
Therefore, to meet 'Duty of Care' responsibilities, employers need to have operators deemed competent and then authorise them to operate.
This course assists employers achieve those outcomes. Course is delivered on your site using your walkie stacker.
Successful trainees are issued with a 'Certificate of Completion' AND a 'Verification of Competency' Certificate for the particular walkie stacker.
Depending on the number of participants (min of 4 and max of 10), course is about 6 hours face to face plus any breaks.
Training site (your premises) must provide a suitable room for theory and written test plus a safe walkie stacker and at least one palletised load for trainees to pick, carry and place for the practical component.

- Conduct routine pre operation checks on the walkie stacker
- Check controls and functions
- Shift Loads
- Shut down and secure the walkie stacker
