What is it?
A 'Verification of Competency' (VOC) Certificate can be issued by DAT Training to show that a person has demonstrated adequate knowledge, skill and operation of various plant or machinery such as operate a boom lift, a forklift, an excavator and so on
This is certificate is usually kept by both employer and employee to prove the individual has a recent record of competency operating machinery.
We offer VOC certificates based on the following courses:
Where a High Risk Work (HRW) licence is required to operate particular plant/machinery, the person requesting the VOC must hold that licence or qualification.
The table below lists what VOC we can conduct and what licence, if any, is required as a pre-requisite.

We can provide VOCs for all the units of comnpetency listed in the table below and for others not listed. Just ask.
If the unit of competency requires a licence, VOC certificates can only be issued if the persons holds the required licence.

- EWP Yellow Card (Scissor Lifts, Boom lifts up to 11m, Trailer lifts and Vertical Lifts)
- Telescopic Handler Gold Card (Fork, Bucket, Jib, Rotator attachments)
- Over 11m Boom
- Forklift
- And many more
