Course Fee:
$3000 per person for 'First Timers' ( full day course). $260 for 'Refresher' (half day). Statement of Attainment issued.
$150 for those who already hold the qualification and simply require a Verification of Competency (VOC) Certificate
What is it?
MEM11011: (Can also cover TLID1001: Shift materials using manual handling methods)
Applicable to anyone who handles materials manually e.g. Shop assistants, tradesmen, office staff, health workers, couriers etc.
Course Outline:
Participants learn about how to avoid injuries when manual handling any materials or using load shifting tools such as trolleys or pallet jacks. Trainees must demonstrate the skills required for lifting items manually.
Pre-requisites:
Participants must be able to speak and understand English.
The use of interpreters is not allowed, however, assistance with reading or writing English is allowed.

Must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) for Statement of Attainment to be issued.
Participants must have ONE photo ID document such as driver's licence or proof of age photo card.
Course Duration:
Either: 4 hours of face to face plus break time for first time 'novice' trainees ($260 per person) OR
2 hours of face to face 'Refresher' course Certificate for those who have previously done some related training
(VOC Certificate only $150 per person, Statement of Attainment and plastic wallet card $200))
Course Outcome:
'Certificate of Completion' issued by DAT Training for refresher only.
Statement of Attainment for full course or refresher + plastic wallet card when requested.
