EOFY is coming….Why not squeeze in some training as an expense before your tax return is due?
Traditionally many businesses squeeze in a few expenditure items just before EOFY. This is a legitimate way for some enterprises to reduce their tax payable if the items can be claimed as a business expense. Training for staff members is claimable and the courses we offer would be a great way to upskill your staff and maybe save a little money as well. As mentioned, traditionally many businesses choose this path so it’s best to book your training early to ensure it can be delivered and paid for before June 30. Visit our website or give us a call to see if any of our courses would be valuable or necessary for your staff or yourself. Pick and carry equipment like forklifts and walkie stackers have had battery powered options available for ages. Now even telescopic handlers are available! These all-terrain machines are extremely popular on construction and mining sites. Having an all-electric option may be just what some people have been waiting for. The manufacturers can rightly claim possible advantages such as:
Training for these electric options may be modified for plant specific knowledge but is essentially similar to standard operator training. DAT Training offers a range of courses for operators of EWPs, Forklifts and telescopic handlers. Visit our website, call us direct on 0408 817 598 or email tony@dattrainingnsw.com Walkie stackers and pedestrian operated lift trucks do not require a national HRW licence. However, employers (PCBUs) need to maintain training records and verification of competency for authorised operators. This course enables them to meet these requirements.
Our Training course offers comprehensive Theoretical and hands on Practical training/assessment delivered by accredited Trainers/Assessors. Trainees can expect to learn knowledge and skills to safely operate walkie stackers. The course content includes:
We come to you to deliver this training. We bring all training materials. You supply a room suitable for theory component and access to a suitable walkie stacker for practical component of the course including palletised load(s) that trainees can pick, carry and place. Your workers trained to use your walkie stacker. Cancellation fees may apply, travel fees may also apply. Please call to discuss. P: 0408 817 598 E: tony@dattrainingnsw.com DAT Training will 'refresh' you current knowledge /skills or help you get some useful competency The recent spate of wet weather has left some tradies high and dry with their normal work on projects. DAT training can assist you to 'refresh' you current knowledge/skills or get some new, additional competency skills or cards. We offer courses as short as 4 hours (e.g. 'Refresher' for Working at heights of Working in confined spaces), 1 day courses (e.g. Operate EWPs such as scissor lifts and under 11m boom lifts) or maybe you or your team members just need a Verification of Competency? You can contact us by phone (0408 817 598) or email (tiny@dattrainingnsw.com) for a no obligation chat about how we may be able to help. Enjoy the cooler weather and the end of daylight saving! 6/2/2022 2 Comments February 06th, 2022Click here to At present both training for and hire of telescopic handlers is in high demand.
This may be because these machines are so versatile on building and other sites. With the ability to handle rough terrain and their use as a forklift or mobile crane, make them ideal for many uses. Normally fitted with tynes (fork) attachment, they are an all-terrain forklift with great manoeuvrability and ease of access. When fitted with a jib, they can pick and carry slung loads. Much like a small mobile crane. With a huge variety of possible attachments, including a bucket attachment, they can be adapted for a variety of tasks while on site. In the absence of a mandatory High Risk Work licence to operate the telescopic handlers, the best and most demanded ‘proof of competency’ is the ‘Gold Card’. DAT training has regular, 1-day courses that lead to the issue of a Telescopic Handler Association of Australia (TSHA) Gold Card mapped to RIIHAN309F. This photo card is the one preferred and demanded by most principal contractors (building companies) and employers. Contact DAT Training for a no obligation discussion about your training needs. We can clarify any questions you may have such as what, if any, licence/card is required by SafeWork NSW for telescopic handler operators. . 6/12/2021 0 Comments Secondary Guards on Boom lifts.......Many situations place boom lift operators at risk of getting crushed. The crushing hazard may be directly above their head. The hazard could be from behind causing them to be crushed towards the controls. If identified, |
