For trainees, it will be simpler to enrol, to ask for a Satement of Attainment and also to keep an electronic copy of your card on your phone! For trainers, it will help reduce the typing errors when we type trainees details. It will streamline the enrolment process. THE GOOD NEWS is most of the course content and the fee will be unchanged. So, if you use EWPs in your job or trade, let DAT Training help you improve your safety and efficiency via the yellow card program. At our venues, we regularly and routinely include the 4 main EWP types in our courses. In particular, scissor lifts and boom lifts! The 4 maintypes are: 1. Verttical Lifts (VL), sometimes also referred to as 'manlifts' 2. Scissor Lifts (SL), these may be battery, dielsel or hybred powered. We can train for all these. 3. Boom lifts (BL), yellow card holders are restricted to boom type lifts with less than 11m reach. 4. Trailer Lifts (TL), sometimes referred to as 'spider lifts'. For boom type trailer lifts, the 11m restriction applies The EWPA yellow card may also include training for Truck Mounted (TM) boom lifts. Again, the 11m restriction applies. At DAT Training we can train for this type as well, just ask. Truck mounted are typically used by tree loppers, some electricians and so on. For any boom type EWP that has a reach of 11m or more, a High Risk Work (HRW), Class WP licence is MANDATORY. DAT Training also offers these courses (usually 3 days). Please contact us for a 'no obligation' chat about what your training needs may be. Our main venue is at Hexham, but, subject to a few T&Cs, we also come to your site to deliver the above courses and many more. Phone or email, you may be pleasantly surprised by our fees and and our flexibility with accredted and non accredited courses. 4/1/2024 0 Comments Yellow card from EWPA will be easier to access/enrol.The preferred provider of the EWP operator ‘Yellow Card’ is undoubtedly the EWPA (Elevating Work Platform Association of Australia).DAT Training has two accredited EWPA trainers who can deliver traCurrently there is no High risk Work licence or similar required (mandated) for telescopic handler operators.

The TSHA course is mapped to the RIIHAN309F National Unit of Competency and those successfully complete the training are issued a photo wallet card valid for 5 years. This is by far the preferred 'proof of competency' required by almost all builders, minesites and large organisations. The course duration is one day. Trainees can expect to learn knowledge and skills to safely operate telehandlers. The course content includes:
